1. MAKEOVER YOUR BATHROOM FLOOR WITHOUT SPENDING TOO MUCH
You can replace your vinyl flooring from the '90s. Do you have a dull floor and a limited budget? There are so many options available for you to choose from that look fresh and new.
You can find a wide range of low-cost luxury vinyl flooring in many colours and styles. They look very similar to wood or tiles. They are lightweight, easy to put together and very easy to clean. We chose the greyish shade, which goes well with our original bathroom design.
Paint your bathroom floor. You might feel that replacing a floor in a bathroom is too much work. It might be the answer to your problem. This DIY project is faster than replacing the whole floor.
The most time-consuming part of a project is applying a waterproof primer and outdoor paint. This is an affordable, stylish, and quick way to give your bathroom floors a fashionable look.
Restain existing wood floors. HGTV can show you how many times they save wood floors and bring them back to life.
Conserve your wooden floors and protect them by using a new enamel or stain.
2. REPLACE YOUR BATHROOM RUGS
One of the best ways to give your bathroom some style and texture is to refresh your mat or rug. There are many bathroom rugs that come in different designs and price points, so don't settle for one boring.
I chose the black and white Boho bath rug to add some humour to the neutral flooring.
3. UPDATE TOILET PAPER HOLDER AND TOWEL RACKS
You can also remodel your bathroom by replacing the towel and holder with a similar one.You have the option to choose from different materials such as silver or gold, copper or black iron. With these small accessories, you can create a beautiful and stylish bathroom by mixing and matching metals.
I bought a set of towel racks and toilet tissue holders with strong adhesive. It will prevent holes from being made in the bathroom wall. The stainless steel material is durable and waterproof.
4. INSTALL AN INEXPENSIVE SHOWER PANEL
It is important to replace your shower if it has become cracked or damaged. There are many affordable options for shower panels and bath panels.
Instead of paying for tiles and hiring workers to install them in your bathroom, you can choose inexpensive, lightweight bath panels. They look fantastic and are easy to install. These adhesives will make it easy to attach them.
Refinish your bathtub and shower. If you have a minor problem with your shower, such as a yellowed or cracked surface, you can still give it a good scrub, paint, and then refinish. This will save you time and money on the installation.
5. UPDATE SHOWER HEAD
It is a good idea to switch to a lower-flow showerhead. It will match your towel rack and toilet holder.
Low-flow showerheads offer a stylish design and a controllable flow. This allows you to save money while also helping the environment.
6. BATHROOM WALL DESIGN IDEAS WITH A BUDGET
Consider wallpaper over tiles. Wallpapers are coming back! Wallpapers are very trendy. You have the option of choosing from bold geometric patterns to nature or calling flowers in endless colours.
Bathroom wallpapers cost less than tiles. Choose waterproof wallpapers that are easy to stick. They are easy to install and can be changed easily so you can change your bathroom wall style whenever you feel like it.
I chose a geometric boho motif from Roommates.
It is easy to stick backsplash. They are just as good looking as real tiles. They come in panels so they are easy to fit. These are made of lightweight plastic material. Most come with adhesive on their back.
In our bathroom, we currently have a grey subway backsplash with peel and stick. I like the backsplash, but I'd prefer a brighter bathroom wall.
7. SWITCH YOUR SOAP DISPENSER
You can also replace your old soap dispenser in your bathroom for a budget-friendly upgrade. It is cheaper to have a dispenser that adds colour than a label on a plastic container.
My bathroom design required a little bit of rose gold so I chose this cute white/rose gold soap dispenser.
8. MINI POTS PAINTED WITH GREENERY & PAINTED
Finish your bathroom renovation and add decoration. Add some greenery to your bathroom.
My bathroom is small so I chose to use miniature faux succulents. To add some colour, I painted my miniature terracotta containers with rose gold.
If you are looking to decorate your bathroom with cute accessories, even small items will work. You can make your bathroom happy and cheerful by adding some decorations.
My bathroom was transformed by me. It was great fun! These DIY ideas work equally well in guest bathrooms and master bathrooms.
No matter what size your bathroom maybe, start with the design. By doing this, you can determine what colours and patterns you should use, as well as what items you need.
